1. Introduction
KaraLog (the "App") is a karaoke score-tracking application developed by Yuta Nishimatsu (the "Developer"). This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected within the App.
Summary: The App does not transmit your data to the Developer's servers. All information is stored on your device or in your own iCloud account.
2. Information We Collect
The App stores the following information locally on your device:
- Score records (score, song title, artist name, karaoke machine, key, date, and memo)
- Attached media files (photos, videos, and audio recordings)
- Folder names and song-folder assignments
- App settings (default machine, display preferences, etc.)
The App does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, location, or contacts.
3. How We Use Information
The information stored is used solely for the following purposes:
- Displaying, managing, and searching score records
- Generating score trend charts
- Creating backup files at the user's request
4. Information Sharing
The Developer does not sell, share, or rent your information to any third party.
5. Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud account. No data is ever sent to the Developer's servers.
6. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Microphone: To record audio and attach it to score records
- Photo Library: To attach photos and videos to score records
- Apple Music (MusicKit): To search for songs and retrieve artwork
Each permission is used only when you actively use the relevant feature. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings.
7. Third-Party Services
The App uses MusicKit (Apple Music), provided by Apple Inc., for song search and artwork retrieval. Use of Apple Music and iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
8. In-App Purchases
The KaraLog Pro plan is available for purchase through the App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple. The Developer never receives your credit card or payment information.
9. Data Deletion
Uninstalling the App will delete all locally stored data from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can also remove the data from iCloud via your device's iCloud settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page. Significant changes may be communicated through an App Store update notice.
